Delete your account
App: Gamertag (br.com.gamertag.app)
In the app, in seconds
This is the fastest route and does not depend on anyone answering:
- open Gamertag and go to the Profile tab;
- scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account;
- confirm.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no recovery window and we cannot restore the account afterwards.
Without the app installed
Write to contact@redstudios.com.br
with the subject “Delete my Gamertag account”, telling us
your handle in the app (the one shown as @your_handle) or the
email you used to sign in with Google.
We confirm ownership before erasing, and complete it within 15 days.
What gets erased
- your profile: handle, display name, photo and email;
- the links to Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and RetroAchievements;
- the PlayStation credential held in encrypted form;
- your games, achievements and unlock dates;
- who you follow and who follows you.
What does not get erased
- Your achievements on the platforms. Those belong to Steam, Sony, Microsoft and RetroAchievements. Deleting your account here changes nothing there.
- Backups already taken. They are rotated and overwritten within 30 days at most.
- Server logs (IP address and access time), kept for up to 30 days for security.
- The game catalogue. Game names and covers are shared by every user and identify no one.
I only want to disconnect one platform
No need to delete the account. In the app, Profile tab → tap the platform → Disconnect. That platform's games and achievements leave your profile and everything else stays.
